GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT

The Graduation Ceremony 2026 represents much more than just an event: This is a celebration that marks the culmination of your journey at GEM.
On Saturday, February 28, 2026, we will have the honor of celebrating the graduates of the class of 2025 in a festive and friendly atmosphere, surrounded by your loved ones and the entire GEM community.
This exceptional day awaits you a rich and varied program: 
  • wearing your graduation outfit,
  • going on stage,
  • honoring the graduates,
  • Speeches by graduates and professors.

To conclude this celebration, a cocktail reception will be offered, along with the taking of official photos to immortalize this important step in your journey.

We look forward to sharing this unique experience with you!
Important note for MBA graduates: Official diplomas will not be awarded at the ceremony for practical reasons. They will be available either by mail or for in-person collection, according to your preference. All necessary information will be provided by your program coordinator.

The Graduation Ceremony and cocktail reception will take place at GEM, 12 rue Pierre Semard, 38000 Grenoble.

There will be no rehearsal. Instructions and the detailed schedule for the day will be sent to you by email and you can also view it here.

The online registration platform will remain open from January 12 to February 18, 2026. You have received an invitation email from “GEM” <Notifications@eventmaker.io>. Each invitation is personalized and non-transferable. This email contains a link to open your registration form. You can also register using your @grenoble-em.com email address here.

It is up to you, the graduate, to register your guests. Each guest will receive a personalized ticket, which is why it is advisable to enter an email address for each one. If the guests do not have an email address, the graduates inviting them can enter their own email address where they will receive their guests' tickets.

Registration is open from January 12 to February 18, 2026.

You will receive a confirmation email from notifications@eventmaker.io with your entry tickets and a QR code to show at the entrance. Please check your spam folder.

Several options will be offered:

Formula No. 1 (free) Graduate + 2 guests:

Formula No. 2 (free): Access to the online broadcast of the ceremony - live streaming. Free. Unlimited number of guests.

The day's program promises to be full of emotion! You are expected at 9:45 am at GEM, 12 rue P. Semard, Grenoble, for the welcome and presentation of your graduation outfit, before the start of your ceremony at 10:30 am.
The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail reception. This will be an opportunity to reconnect with your classmates, loved ones, as well as your directors, coordinators, and some professors, and to celebrate your success together!

PRACTICAL INFORMATION/REGISTRATION

Find the personalized email that will be sent to you or log in with your @grenoble-em.com email here from January 12, 2026. Registration will be open until February 18 2026. You will be able to register your guests yourself by selecting the appropriate option.

Each graduate can invite a maximum of 4 guests (2 free tickets + 2 paid tickets) by indicating their names, surnames and email addresses at the time of their own registration.
If you wish to share your ceremony with more guests, you can register them for the live replay.

Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. Contact the French Embassy or consular services in your place of residence for further information. If you and/or your guests require a visa, you will need to apply for a short-stay tourist visa. If you are required to provide a letter of invitation, please contact your program coordinator.

As a student at GEM, you will not be able to attend the Graduation Ceremony, as it is exclusively reserved for graduates. But don't worry, your time will come.

A personalized link will be sent to your email address (firstname.lastname@grenoble-em.com - or personal address if the latter is deactivated) as soon as the platform opens, scheduled for January 2026. 
Remember to check your junk mail folder in case this message ended up there.
If you can't find the email, contact us at graduation@grenoble-em.com specifying the following information:
  • First and last name
  • Graduation year
  • Student ID
  • Phone number
We will do what is necessary to help you quickly!

Children are welcome at the 2026 Graduation Ceremony. However, please note that a ceremony lasts several hours and may seem long to younger children. In case of any disruptions, we may ask you to briefly step out into the lobby to allow the event to proceed smoothly.
During the cocktail reception, alcoholic drinks will be offered to adults, while a selection of non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
All children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adults, as we do not offer a childcare service. Furthermore, we are unable to store strollers in the cloakroom.
Entry is free for children up to and including 15 years old. From 16 years old, they are considered additional guests. Please note that admission is charged for each additional guest beyond the third. 
Babies under one year old are not counted as guests, but they must still be registered during registration for security reasons.

It will be possible to follow the event remotely on a live streaming platform. Registration will be done in the same way as for in-person registration on the dedicated platform.

If you need to cancel your reservation or that of a guest, please write to us at graduation@grenoble-em.com. In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, we unfortunately cannot refund your ticket(s), except in cases of force majeure.

Payment must be made in full upon confirmation of your booking. However, you will be able to modify your booking, such as changing your package or adding guests, as long as you did not validated your registration yet or as the registration is open.

You can pay with the following credit and debit cards: Carte Bleue, Visa, MasterCard and Maestro.

Until the platform closes on February 18, 2026, graduates will be able to modify their registration and that of their guests (add, modify or remove guests).
However, for any changes resulting in a refund, it is essential to send an email to graduation@grenoble-em.com.

ACCESS TO GEM

The campus, located at 12 rue P. Semard in Grenoble, is close to the city center and a few minutes from the train station. The two most convenient public transport options are bus C5 and tram B (Palais de Justice-Gare stop). For taxis, you can use Taxis Grenoblois (+33 4 76 54 42 54), Taxis de la Banlieue Grenobloise (+33 4 76 54 17 18), or Uber.

Since GEM is located near the city center and residential areas, there are many Airbnbs available nearby. You can also consult the list of partner hotels.

For easy access to the GEM Semard Campus, you can book a spot in the Grenoble Gares Europole Car Park, located 2 avenue Doyen Louis Weil, 38000 Grenoble. The campus is less than a 5-min. walking distance.

GEM is equipped with access for people with reduced mobility. If you or your guests are arriving in a wheelchair or require special accessibility equipment, please indicate this as precisely as possible on the registration form so that we can anticipate your needs and welcome you with the excellence you deserve.

ON D DAY

Your MBA diplomas will not be handed out at the ceremony. To avoid loss or damage, they will be given to you another day by your program coordinator, either by mail or in person. You will receive all the necessary information regarding the collection method directly from them, so that you can collect your diploma under the best possible conditions.

We recommend arriving at least one hour before your ceremony begins to allow time to leave your belongings in the cloakroom, receive your graduation outfit, and take your place for a grand entrance with the other graduates. This will also give your guests time to secure the best seats in the audience seating. To avoid disrupting the ceremony, we will close the doors at 10:30 p.m.

We ask that you arrive at least one hour before the start of the ceremony to allow time for enhanced security, to receive your graduation outfit, and to take your places for a spectacular entrance with the rest of your graduating class. This will also give your guests time to secure the best seats in the audience seating. To avoid disrupting the ceremony, we will close the doors at 10:30 a.m.

You are free to dress as you wish. We advise you to choose clothes and shoes in which you feel comfortable. Keep in mind that you will be on stage and will likely want to have your picture taken. We will admit all those dressed appropriately. Traditional attire is also welcome. We do not provide or recommend a uniform.
Upon arrival, graduates will be given their graduation outfit.

Yes, on the day, our staff will direct you to secure changing rooms where you can leave your belongings. Please note that we unfortunately cannot accept large or valuable items: suitcases, sports bags, handbags, strollers, etc.

On the day of the ceremony, please bring your invitation so we can scan your QR code. It will be sent to you by email after your registration is confirmed. You can show it in printed format or on your phone. Your guests will each have a personal QR code; please remember to give them theirs or print them out if they don't have a phone or if their QR code was sent to your email.
No entry without an invitation will be permitted. A separate reception area for graduates and guests will be in place to facilitate the flow of people and ensure access for everyone in the room.

For security reasons, we cannot accept luggage or bags of any kind (travel bags, sports bags, handbags, etc.). There will be no luggage storage.

Please check your spam folder if your ticket has ended up there. If you still can't find it, please email us at graduation@grenoble-em.com including your full name, graduation year, and phone number. Thank you.

On the day of the event, there are no restrictions on digital devices, however photographers and photocalls will be present to ensure quality content.

During the cocktail reception, you will be able to purchase drinks in addition to those offered. Payment for your drinks will be by credit card only: Carte Bleue, MasterCard, or Visa.
