Le Gala
Le Gala is GEM’s event association (founded in 1999) and the only student association in France to co-organise its school’s Graduation Ceremony: a flagship event that celebrates graduates and brings together students, families and friends.
With high standards and a professional level of organisation, the association helps design a unique Graduation Ceremony experience.
Le Gala is driven by a team of around sixty members, organised into nine departments that manage each project (Graduation Ceremony, Prom, Gala Agency) in a structured way.
The Graduation Ceremony
The Graduation Ceremony is one of GEM’s key moments: a symbolic, unifying and highly anticipated event that marks the end of a journey and celebrates the start of a new chapter. Each department works closely with the school teams and service providers to offer graduates and their guests a one-of-a-kind event.
Les différents pôles
The Logistics Department coordinates everything on the ground: site walk-throughs, set-up, flow management and team coordination. The goal is to have everything in the right place at the right time, ensuring the day runs smoothly.
The Ceremony Department manages the ceremony’s run-of-show: sequence planning, timing, and coordination of interventions, especially for artistic performances.
The Purchasing Department handles purchasing and suppliers for the reception: catering, drinks, and all cocktail-related logistics.
The Communication Department showcases the event before, during and after the ceremony: visuals, content, images, distribution, and participatory formats involving graduates.
The Event Department leads the celebration moments: atmosphere, entertainment, and the organisation of the cocktail reception.
The Fashion Department runs the fashion show taking place during the cocktail, including staging and coordination: brand selection, models and outfits.
The Quality Department ensures overall standards and leads the eco-responsible approach, particularly around the ECOFEST label.
The Partnerships Department manages relationships with financial partners and contributes to funding and delivering the after-ceremony party.
La Gala Agency
Created in 2021, the Gala Agency complements the association’s activity by adding a stronger projectmanagement dimension. The goal is to develop a structured, professional and responsible approach around a concrete project.
